Today on my blog, I am sharing where to shop for plus size Cruella costumes or Cruella-inspired plus size Halloween costumes! I was Cruella for Halloween a few years ago, and I ended up going with a DIY plus size Cruella costume, so I’ve also included research on wigs, gloves, faux Dalmatian shrugs and stoles, as well as other Cruella Halloween accessories at the end of my blog post.

In the post below, I’ve shared my (rather exhaustive) research on plus size Cruella costumes. I’ve included notes on the actual measurements of the costume, as plus size costume sizes can vary WILDLY.
For example, one brand’s 3X Cruella costume is another brand’s 5X Cruella costume, when you look at their size charts.
For this reason, I recommend snagging a measuring tape (here’s one I use on Amazon) to get your measurements. That way you know what size to order and are hopefully less likely to be disappointed by your costume!

#1 Plus Size Cruella Costume – Up to an 8X
This plus size Cruella costume is first on my list, because it’s by far the largest size or a Cruella costume I’ve found. This is an officially licensed Disney plus size Cruella costume, with the iconic cream coat that you see in the animated movie, 101 Dalmatians.
I love this costume, because it’s so smart to have a costume with a COAT if you live in an area of the country where it gets cold on Halloween. Where I live, it’s not unheard of for it to SNOW on Halloween, so I love this costume.
From the brand: “This women’s plus size costume comes officially licensed from Disney and it comes with all the pieces you need to become the villain from 101 Dalmatians. It starts with a black sheath dress with a v-neck front. It also comes with a pair of red, elbow-length gloves that stretch to fit. You can’t be Cruella De Vil without a luxurious coat, and this costume comes with one! It’s made out of man-made materials, that have the look and feel of fur.”
- Sizing Info: Up to a size 8X, which is a 67 inch bust on the brand’s size chart

#2 Plus Size Cruella Costume – Up to a 5X
This next plus size Cruella costume is the second most size inclusive. I love the faux fur stole, and I think that could be used for a variety of plus size Halloween costumes (for instance, a plus size flapper costume!).
Like the first costume, this is an officially licensed Disney costume. It looks like it doesn’t come with a wig and wig cap, so be sure to add those to your cart as well!
From the brand: “This exclusive costume brings you everything you need to transform into Cruella De Vil. It starts with a black sheath dress that has a v-neck style in the front. The included red gloves are elbow-length and stretch to fit. Finally, the costume comes with a white stole, which is made out of faux fur materials. When you have it all on, you’ll feel like the notorious villain from 101 Dalmatians!”
- Sizing Info: This costume is available in up to a 5X which is a waist measurement of 57 inches on their size guide.

#3 Plus Size Cruella Costume – Color Blocked Dalmatian Print Costume
Next up on my guide, I found this super fun color blocked Cruella costume. This is a great pick if you’re headed to a costume party, and you don’t want to worry about a faux fur coat or stole. I cackled with delight when I saw the dog bone purse, that is so fun and kitschy!
From the brand: “This plus size costume combines the fashionable style of the Dalmatian with a stylish ensemble that will have you feeling fabulous all day. It comes with a faux fur dress that zips up in front. Half of the dress is covered in spots, while the other half has a deep black color. The included belt is a bright red that adds a pop of color to the look, but that’s not even the best part.”
- Sizing Info: Up to a 3X (at time of writing their size chart was having issues, I think the maximum waist measurement is 40 inches… but please double check this!)

#4 Plus Size Cruella Costume – Black Bodysuit
This plus size Cruella costume is veryyyy VA VA VOOM. This would be my go to costume I was headed out clubbing or dancing. I think the faux fur cape would be super fun to twirl in!!
The bodysuit could be used for other costumes or weekend plus size clubbing outfits, and I love purchasing costumes where I can wear pieces more than a couple of times!!

#5 Plus Size Cruella Inspired Costume – Old Hollywood Glam
This plus size Cruella Halloween costume is giving me GLAM vibes! The fur cuffs on the gloves are such a smart design choice.

#7 Plus Size Cruella De Vil Costume – Emma Stone Version
Next up, we have a plus size Cruella costume from the live 101 Dalmatians remake with Emma Stone.
This is a more niche Cruella reference, and you could reuse this costume for a variety of plus size events!
Unfortunately, this is where we get to less size inclusion on the list. Party City lists this costume as just being a “PLUS” size, which I think would fit maybe a 1X? Such a bummer!

Another plus size Cruella costume from the live remake with Emma Stone, this 101 Dalmatians Cruella costume is giving corporate Cruella.

I’d honestly wear this costume as a regular outfit, but that’s just me!

This next plus size Cruella costume features a STUNNING silhouette. I love the screen siren vibes.
I actually found this costume on eBay of all places! It had never occurred to me to shop for Halloween costumes on eBay!!

#10 Plus Size Cruella De Vil Costume
At time of publishing, this plus size Halloween costume is out of stock. I’m hoping it will come back in stock, because who doesn’t love a satin-like black dress?!

#11 Plus Size Cruella De Vil Costume
Last but never least, we have this plus size Cruella De Vil costume from Periods in Time!
This Cruella costume is higher end, featuring a steel-boned corset! If I was going to a Halloween party or costume gala, I would go with this costume as it features design and sewing details that make it higher end.
The faux fur shrug is so smart! I used a stole in my DIY Cruella costume, and it was kind of a pain. Having a jacket shrug like this one makes so much more sense!

Remember that wigs can be HOT (a lot of our body heat exits through our noggin), and you’ll also need a cap and other tools to wear a Cruella wig effectively.
Cruella Costume DIY – Dalmatian Accessories
So there aren’t a lot of plus size faux Dalmatian accessories on the market.
Because of this, you may want to make a shawl or stole using this faux dalmatian fur from JoAnns!
