Are you trying to find Doberman rescues in your state? Finding info on adopting a Doberman dog can be tough, so I put together this organized list of Doberman rescues by state! Currently, this post has half of the research posted, showing info on rescuing Dobermans alphabetically, starting with Kentucky.
I am working on getting the rest of my research up on the blog – stay tuned!
This post is all about Doberman rescues in the USA
Doberman Rescues in the USA
Since moving into my first apartment, I’ve been contemplating getting a dog.
Two Dobermans, to be exact!
And, while doing all the things responsible dog owners *should do*, like learning about the breed, looking at how my daily life would need to change for walks, hiring a dog walker, finding a dog trainer, etc, I’ve also been looking for different rescues.
I found it hard to find Doberman rescues, so I actually ended up hiring someone on UpWork to put this info together for me! That way it’s all in one place, with all of the links situated.
Hot Tip: To use this list, use “CMND+F” to search the doc for the name of your state and/or neighboring states.

Do Your Own Due Diligence! I haven’t visited ANY of these Doberman rescue groups!
Note: Including a rescue in this list doesn’t act as a recommendation for that Doberman rescue! Think of this as a sort of phone book with options. Be sure to do all of your due diligence when adopting a Doberman from a rescue – and consult experts!! I have visited ZERO of these Doberman rescues in the USA, and I can vouch for exactly NONE of them! Do your due diligence, and know that there are risks that come from rescuing a pet.
