Today on the blog, I’m sharing my research on plus size Alice in Wonderland costumes. Finding plus size Halloween costumes online can be extremely difficult and frustrating, as it feels like most costumes don’t reach a 4X!
So, inspired by the lack of resources – I decided to make this one!

The blue and white Alice dress is FREAKING iconic, and I found a number of plus size Alice in Wonderland costumes.
“But why stop there?” I wondered. “There are other characters to dress up as in the ‘Alice Universe’ as it were, and a number of folks are looking for plus size group costumes.
So, I dived in EVEN further to find:

For your costume search, I recommend getting a measuring tape to get your measurements (they’re usually a few bucks online, here’s one I recommend to my readers) so you can order a plus size Alice in Wonderland costume that’s more likely to fit!

#2 Plus Size Alice in Wonderland Costumes: Alice Costume in up to a 5X
Next up, we have a more frilly version of the plus size Alice from Alice in Wonderland costume. I love the cute clock purse here! This could be used on a regular basis for folks who love kitschy fashion, and hold Halloween party essentials on October 31.

Okayyy it’s time to get a more.. fun and snazzy. This plus size Alice costume features a choker and a shorter skirt, and I am IN LOVE with the white rabbit purse. I’m a little concerned about that purse staying white with Halloween punch and fun around, but life has to be lived!
From the brand: “The exclusive costume features a stylish blue satin-like dress made out of 100 percent polyester, which is covered in black-and-white ribbon trim details and fringed with white lace along the sleeve cuffs and hemline. I almost didn’t include this plus size Alice in Wonderland costume, as it only goes up to a 2X. That said, I’m hopeful that brand is going to add more sizes of this fun and zany plus size Alice costume. The bow is so fun!

Paging Andy Warhol! This plus size Alice costume has a flat and cartoonish appearance, evoking Warhol or a comic book! (Maybe add some dots to your face to do a Warhol version of Alice in Wonderland?) I love the half glvoes on this costume, and the blue sparkly heels are just so dang FUN!!

Following the plus size Alice costumes, we now have plus size Queen of Hearts costumes! This is a super popular plus size Halloween costume, so I went through and found a number of plus size Queen of Hearts costumes! I’ve included measurements and sizes, so it’s easier for you to shop!
Remember to look at the MEASUREMENTS, not just the sizes. I’ve found that one brand’s 3X is another brand’s 1X or 5X! It’s wild out here in these size charts!!
#8 Plus Size Alice in Wonderland Costumes: 4X Plus Size Queen of Hearts Costume
This plus size Queen of Hearts is regal and so fun! This would be an excellent costume to wear in colder climates or to more conservative parties. I love how this costume shows the wearer as a QUEEN first, with allusions to Alice in Wonderland. Less cartoon-ish more regal, in my opinion!

Now for a bit more of a fun and flirty plus size Queen of Hearts costume! This 4X Queen of Hearts costume has a high low skirt, and I LOVE how the white underskirt features face playing cards.
the crown is super fun, and this is more of a cartoon-y Halloween costume!

This next plus size Queen of Heart costume reminds me of the costume worn by Helena Bonham Carter in the 2010 Disney Remake. Technically, her character was the “Red Queen” not “Queen of Hearts” (shoutout to IMDB for letting me know this). If you’re a movie lover wanting to reference the 2010 Disney remake, then THIS looks like the costume to get!!

Now it’s time for a short length plus size Queen of Hearts costume from Alice in Wonderland! I love the lacing across the model’s front, and this costume is both flirty with cartoon references (love the hearts on the crown). I’d wear this costume with black boots if you’re in a colder climate for Halloween!

If you’re worried about spilling on a white and red plus size Queen of Hearts costume, this black and red queen of hearts costume is perfect. I’m not a fan of the crown on this one either (I think it’s the same one as above?) but not everyone needs the crown to be a huge part of the costume (can’t relate, lol).

Next up, the crown on this plus size Queen of Hearts costume could be considered campy, but I just think it’s ugly!!
BUT the rest of this short length plus size Queen of Hearts costume is fun and simple, so you can always swap out crowns.
Plus this costume has a little royal scepter.. wand.. thingy.. which is a big bonus in my book!

This plus size Queen of Hearts costume is probably my #1 fave! I love the Mouline Rouge vibes as well as the Helena Bonham Carter reference with the wig and lips. The costume features a tiara along the wig, and that scepter is such a good accessory for this plus size costume.

Last is best of all the game! This plus size caterpillar costume made me laugh so hard I honked like a goose. This plus size Alice in Wonderland costume is perfect for a comedian or someone who loves to be the life of the party.
