Fall is coming, and it’s one of my favorite fashion seasons! From plus size blazers to fun sweater dresses to wide calf boots – I have a BLAST with fall fashion.

In this blog post, I’ve shared my fave plus size fall fashion outfits for 2021! As we get closer to September, I’ll keep updating this post with my finds.

#1: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Lantern Sleeve Blouse from Amazon
I have this plus size lantern sleeve blouse in 4 colors, and I am stoked to see this forest green make an appearance! The tan and red are also great colors for fall! This has been a go-to fall work top for me, and It is just so cozy and comfy! Like 3 of my besties have bought this top because I can’t stop talking about it, lol.
I style my plus size top with dark wash skinny jeans or black jeans. Add on some fun booties, and bam! Easy plus size fall fashion outfit. This plus size fall top goes up to a size 4X!

#2 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Eloquii in 2022
Eloquii recently released their fall outfits, and I am *dying* over them! The plus size fashion brand has this plaid plus size coat that is perfect for fall, and I love faux leather details. The shoes are also SO CUTE but I couldn’t find those quite yet on Eloquii.
The Eloquii team styled this outfit with dark black pants and a simple white top – a perfect plus size fall street style outfit!

#3 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Floral Wrap Dress from BAACAL
I haven’t had the chance to try BAACAL, a higher end plus size brand, YET — but they’re on my list! I love how this photo illustrates the gorgeous movement of this wrap dress.
I personally would probably style this with a black moto jacket and combat boots, playing with “hard and soft” design elements. You could style it with booties – perhaps even adding leggings if you needed some extra warmth!

#4 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Pleated Leather Midi Skirt from Lane Bryant
A plus size leather pleated midi skirt is SUCH a classic plus size wardrobe staple. I love how the Lane Bryant team put together this fall plus size outfit for 2022, adding a belt bag and keyhole sweater!
You could dress this up with tights, bootie boots and a shimmery top — or add in a graphic tee and combat boots for a more punk rock look! I love a skirt like this, because there are just SO many ways to style it!

#5 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Sweater Knit Dress from Eloquii
Y’all! I need to get my ish together and get one of these knit dresses from Eloquii! I recently tried one in a fashion subscription box, and now I’m OBSESSED! I, personally, sometimes have the worry as a plus size babe that we’ll look “bigger” in a knit dress, but WHO CARES?!!? Take up space, am I right?!
This plus size cream fall sweater dress has been styled with a white button down and brown boots. Honestly, I wouldn’t change or add a thing when styling this myself!

#6 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Lantern Sleeve Dress from Amazon
Looking for a statement making plus size fall dress?
I have this plus size dress in green, and the maroon is calling my name! I wear a size 22/244, and I got the 4X in this plus size fall dress. I opted for the green (are you seeing a pattern after #1, lol), but I think this dark red burgundy color is also great for a fall wedding or event!

#7 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Check Ceci Dress from WRAY
I haven’t had a chance to try WRAY yet, but I am so intrigued by the brand! They have a line of plus size gloves that I find SO visually inspiring.
This plus size checked dress is perfect for fall. I’d style it with an oversized button up cardigan (love a chunky knit), or a jean jacket!

#8 Plus Size Fall Outfit: Half-Sweater Scarf from Eloquii in 2022
Okay, real talk! When I first saw these half-sweater tops online, I was intrigued – but definitely not on board, lmao.
Fast forward a bit, and I am *obsessed* with this half-sweater look from Eloquii! Pair this tan sweater with HIGH WAISTED faux leather pants or jeans, and BAM! Super cute plus size fall outfit. This plus size sweater also comes in black, chocolate and “roasted cashew.”

Ok, so I freaking LOVE when a designer mixes different prints within one larger print, and I’m a little OBSESSED with this plus size fall dress from ASOS (via River Island).

#10: Plus Size Fall Fashion Outfit: Plus Size Striped Dress
This plus size knit dress is so fun, and it’s giving me a little bit of a 90’s vibe! I love how the LB team styled this plus size fall outfit with a statement belt and knee high boots. If you don’t like your accessories to match exactly, you could snag some chocolate brown knee high boots from Lane Bryant. I just love the detailing on the sleeves — adds a bit of drama without getting in the way of living your everyday life, lol!

#11: Plus Size Fall Fashion Outfit: Plus Cocoon Shrug with Brown Booties and Lightwash Denim
I am a big fan of shrugs for fall, especially living in Utah. During fall it can change from 90+ degrees to 60 degrees – it’s wild! If you’re also in this boat — where you don’t know what temperature is in-store for you that day — then layers during fall are really a MUST, in my opinion! Layers are optimal for fall. This plus size fall outfit from Torrid is a really great “pre-fall outfit” (that’s the term we use in the biz, lol), and could be paired with different pants to be more work appropriate or remain casual!
Torrid kept things simple, styling this plus size fall outfit with a brown ochre top, distressed light wash jeans with a cuff and brown booties (love these brown booties)! You could layer this outfit up with gold jewelry like bracelets, statement earrings, etc, or keep it simple as shown!
The bonus is that this shrug can act as a pool cover up for spring 2023! Boom! We love versatility. This shrug is available in up to a size 6X or size 30.

#12: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Plus Size Preppy Red Sweater Dress from Eloquii 2022
Ok, so next up on my listicle of plus size fall outfits I’m LOVING, we have this sweater dress from Eloquii! This is a bold color, and I’m HERE for it! (My list was looking a little too full of neutrals, lol.) This is a piece that could be worn year round, weather permitting!
Like almost all of Eloquii clothing, it’s available in up to a size 28! I would style this sweater dress with navy tights and knee length boots as it gets more cold, maybe opting for just booties if it’s warmer!

#13: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Chic Boab Dress from Refinity at CoEdition
I’ve talked about CoEdition a number of times on my blog, ,and they were recently acquired by City Chic! The CoEdition platform pulls different smaller plus size brands under one umbrella, making it easier to shop — no need to scour dozens of sites! (Well, you can scour them if you’re like me and love to know what all the brands are offering this season, lol.)
I have not tried Refinity YET, but they’re on my list! This plus size European brand makes trendy pieces that are also classic. I could see myself wearing this plus size fall outfit for years to come! This fall dress is available in up to a size 22!
I love how the brand kept styling simple here, making the dress double as a jacket with a navy more form fitting dress underneath. Of course, this dress can be buttoned up and worn as a dress – not just as a jacket! While the heels are super fun, I probably would wear this with booties or closed toe shoes in my home state of Utah!

#14: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Striped Sweater Plus Size Casual Fall Outfit
Next up, I wanted to be sure to include another more casual plus size fall outfit idea! This striped sweater from Lane Bryant could be worn in multiple seasons, and I think it’s perfect for fall.

#: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Faux Leather Dress from Eloquii 2022
Next up, I just HAVE to talk talk about faux leather. I don’t know how we got this far in this guide to plus size fall outfits post without it!
Okay, let’s talk about THIS plus size dress for fall!
In my experience, faux leather keeps you WARM folks! You can wear this black plus size faux leather dress (love that belt) bare legged in the early fall, and then add in knit tights and a statement wool coat over it as snow starts entering the chat!
This plus size fall outift goes up to a size 28! While I freaking love the white booties that this is styled with, I’d probably snag my red and black faux snakeskin booties for this fall look!

#15: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Long Cardiagan from City Chic 2022
This is a classic plus size fall outfit, as a longline cardigan is a MUST for every plus size babe’s wardrobe. (Unless you’re like me and get hot super easily, lol!)

Next up on the list, we have this black and whtie set from Tamara Malas! This is SUCH A fun set, and it’s a perfect outfit for people who live in warmer climates — but want to start dressing in a more fall/winter color palette!

#19: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Casual Red Brown Shrug and High Waisted Jeans
Ok, so as a plus size apple shaped babe, I LOOOOOVE the high waisted jeans at Torrid. I ahven’t tried this EXACT pair (just being real!), but I reallly cannot say enough about them.
This shrug paired with this cami is super cute, and I love the styling here! This plus size fall outfit is available in up to a size 6X or size 30! I love the easy styling here, and I would probably opt for different brown booties from Torrid – because these aren’t my favorite (but no worries if YOU love them! Live your life, bestie!)

#20: Plus Size Fall Outfit: Fall Sparkle Dress
Y’all, when I saw this plus size fall outfit on the Eloquii website, my eyebrows went WAYYYY up, lol. I love this kind of neckline, and this is such a fun flounce. This is a great dress for girlies like me who LOVE Selkie, buuuut also, you know want to be able to wear the dress to more than 1 or 2 places. (i mean, okay, you could wear Selkie to the grocery store technically, buuuut you get me!)
This plus size fall outfit goes up to a size 28! Real talk, I’d probably style this with a crown for a rad photoshoot to share on my TikTok and Instagram, but for a “daily wear” I’d add combo boots and a moto jacket. I love playing with masculine and feminine energies when it comes to styling my outfits!

Folks, I literally went “OOO LA LA LA!” when I saw this plus size fall outfit on Anthrolpologie. The brand makes plus size clothing in up to a size 24W, and this whole situation is just *chef’s kiss*!!
This chic autumn look is comprised of:

- Wide leg jeans
- button up white blouse
This blouse reminds me of how Grace (played by Jane Fonda) wears her blouses in the hit Netflix show, “Grace and Frankie”! This is just the ultimate chic plus size fall outfit.
