“Lovecore” is a popular online fashion aesthetic that involves lots of the fun themes and kitschy patterns that include hearts and what we’d typically normally expect from Valentine’s Day! The aesthetic also pulls from “kawaii,” vintage 1980’s -esque Valentine’s aesthetic sensibilities (think super EXTRA lace) and anime references.

#1 Plus Size Lovecore Outfit Idea: Heart Sweater
I think that this plus size lovecore outfit from Eloquii is the *quintessential* plus size lovecore idea! I love the giant heart on the front, and I *especially* love the hearts that are “elbow patches.”
I also love how the Eloquii styling team has put together this outfit — the fun and gauzy red skirts with a heart motif is super cute, and 100% on point (in my opinion!) for a plus size lovecore aesthetic.

#3 Plus Size Lovecore Outfit Idea: Black Wrap Heart Dress
Next up, I wanted to include a plus size lovecore outfit that’s less… in your face. For folks who love the aesthetic but aren’t super into wearing giant hearts. While I love being EXTRA AF, personally, I know that doesn’t work for anyone!
This black plus size lovecore aesthetic outfit is super cute with the red hearts! I love the wrap style and how the dress is gathered at the sleeves.
I’d personally style this plus size lovecore outfit with glittery red sparkly statement heart earrings and red platform shoes, along with a kitschy red heart purse.

I just love some KITSCH, don’t you!! This full on heart sequin plus size lovecore AESTHETIC is super fun — I love the tie at the neck.
I love how the Eloquii team has styled this plus size lovecore look with simple silver hoops and pink/red heels! I’d probably swap out the earrings for giant heart earrings or drop heart earrings, as well as platform heels — I find they’re easier to wear than stiletto heels!

I think that this heart cardigan is SO CUTE — and a great way to layer up a lovecore plus size outfit. This cute pink and red cardigan is also available in lavender/purple! Unique Vintage (the maker of this cute sweater) also has lots of kitsch fun hearts on their site — including headbands, earrings, etc! So cute!
- Sizing: The plus “one size” version goes up to a 50″ bust! Make sure you’re on the right page, as there’s also a non-plus version!!

#6 Plus Size Lovecore Outfit Idea: Heart Tie Neck Blouse
Are you looking for a more professional heartcore or lovecore blouse? This black and white top (love the pussy bow!!) is the perfect plus size lovecore outfit for work! I’d style this with a black pencil skirt or black wide leg trousers, with small gold heart earrings (the hoops shown are also a great idea, in my opinion)!

I am in love with this pink plus size lovecore dress?!!?! I love the full sleeves gathered at the wrists. I also think the styling is genius, with white tennis and a little bag. I probably would’ve snagged a black heart purse (super shiny) because I love kitsch, but this outfit is super cute with a less kitschy purse!

Berriez is a really cool vintage brand that upcycles plus size thrift and vintage finds to be super cool. I love this orange tee with heart additions (and they have other cool interpretations of “lovecore” in this drop)!

I think that this black skirt with heart print is a WARDROBE STAPLE for the plus size lovecore aesthetic lover! I love the overlay and think this could be so cute with a variety of plus size lovecore tees, heart cardigans, sweatshirts, etc!! Truly such a staple

I’d love to style this with a dark wash plus size denim jeans in a boyfriend fit or even flares/bell bottoms with platform heels!
