Tis the season for Christmas parties, events and lots of picture – and that means we need plus size Christmas outfits that are casual. While I personally would be down to wear a gown every day in December, this doesn’t necessarily work for all of our holiday events.

#1: Plus Size Christmas Outfits – Casual – Red Plaid Pants, Black Jacket & Tee (Don’t forget a beanie!)
This look is a perfect casual plus size Christmas outfit! The black and red plaid pants have stretch (woohoo Christmas snacks!), and can be paired with a fun striped tee & jacket for layering. Pieces from Torrid are available in up to a 6X!
If you plan on staying inside, the jacket could be swapped out for a cozy black cardigan. This plus size casual Christmas outfit finishes up with a pair of combat boots!

This plus size Christmas outfit is casual and chic! I love the necklie on the maroon top. In addition to the jeggings and boots, I’d definitely add some gold jewelry to finish this plus size Christmas outfit! This top is available in up to a 6X!

For those who want to be comfy and cute, a plus size maxi dress made from stretch jersey is a great option! Pair it with a leather jacket or coat as needed, and you an wear leggings underneath for warmth!

This plus size sweater can be used for the perfect plus size casual Christmas outfit. This green definitely goes with a Christmas aesthetic – but you can wear this sweater after December 26, with no problem.

I love it when I see plus size babes rocking a creme turtleneck sweater – I think they are just so chic!
Woman Within has this plus size ivory sweater in up to a size 30-32. To style this outfit, I’d pair it with skinny jeans, black booties and dangly earrings! I also might pair it with a black quilted vest with a zip.
Planning on going outside to play in the snow? I’d layer this turtleneck with a navy or burgundy peacoat for outdoor pictures in the snow!

Madewell is newer to the plus size fashion space, and I’ve heard great things about their fit.

#13: Plus Size Christmas Outfits – Casual – Red & Black Plaid Vest
This plus size casual Christmas outfit is one that is continuously reinvented (I bet if we looked at Ralph Lauren catalogues from decades past, we’d find various versions of this American classic)!
I’m pretty sure that a red plaid vest is a wardrobe staple for a lot of folks on Planet Earth, and Maurices has a super cute plaid sherpa vest in up to a 4X! The brand has styled it with a black long sleeved t-shirt, dark wash jeans and boots!

I love the look of flannel button downs and plaid shirts, but I don’t feel like I can move in them!
Luckily, Maurices recently came out with a plus size plaid DUSTER – enabling *us* to put together a super fun casual plus size Christmas outfit!
