Hello there! Today on the blog, I’m sharing a few plus size outfits for an office Christmas party! Trying to figure out what to wear to these types of parties can be overwhelming, and I’m excited to help you figure out what to wear!
The outfits I’ve shared in this post are definitely fun, but they’re not the type of outfit one would wear to a cocktail party or black tie event! These are more fun plus size outfits for a Christmas party that are a bit more relaxed, but not too casual!
I’m such a fan of Eloquii (they go up to a size 28), and I was so inspired by their holiday collection that I made this whole post dedicated to Eloquii outfits! <3

Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party
When putting together a plus size outfit for an office Christmas party, there are few tips and tricks I wanted to share:
- Black satin pants or jeggings look much more chic than typical black pants, and are very festive!
- Look for TEXTURE and jewel tones! Holiday parties are all about velvet, sequins, satin, etc, in jewel tones!
- Sequins are super fun, but they can get caught on other sequins! Put another way, if you decide to wear sequins to your office holiday party, beware of hugging other folks in sequins!
- If you’re not sure what to wear, I recommend erring on the side of overdressed! It’s much more comfortable, in my experience, to go to an office Christmas party a little more glamorous, than to feel underdressed! Heavens forbid!

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Ruched Sequin Dress from Eloquii
First up on my guide to plus size outfits for your company Christmas party, we have this SUPER fun red ruched sequin dress. This dress *might* be a little much for more casual holiday office parties, BUT if you added a black moto jacket you could make it a bit more casual!
This is a great plus size Christmas party dress that could be dressed up with glam makeup and hair, or made a bit more casual with a jacket! While wearing heels in the snow is NOT ideal, I’m a fan of the open toe heels here, I gotta be honest!! <3

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Miracle Flawless Leggings with Sequin Front
Next up on my guide to plus size outfits for your office Christmas party, you KNOW I had to include an outfit with SEQUINS!
I’m such a fan of these black plus size sequin pants from Eloquii, becuase the sequins are on one side — the front! I also love the cigarette length on these!
These plus size sequin pants can be worn year round, and they’re FABULOUS for an office Christmas party. I’d probably jazz these up with a plus size emerald satin top (or dark purple wrap top), adding some sparkly holiday earrings.
If you’re like me and live where it SNOWS A LOT, then you might not want to wear heels to your office Christmas party. Getting through the parking lot can be a bit of an obstacle course, am I right?! You could always wear black pointed to bootie boots with an outfit like this!!

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Velvet Mini Dress with Wrap Skirt in Emerald Green, Purple and Black
Next up, you know I just HAD to include velvet! Remember earlier, how I said sequins or velvet make for a great plus size holiday outfit?
I love how Eloquii has this super flattering plus size velvet dress in multiple colors. If you want to go full-on CHRISTMAS, I’d snag the green! If you’d like to get more wears out of this dress, I’d go with the purple or black! (Black is a bit boring, and you can def jazz it up for a holiday party!)
That said, notice where the dress hits on these glam models? That may be a liiiiittle short, depending on where you work. As someone who is 5’4″, I usually take a chance on dresses like this, because I’m usually shorter than the ecommerce models shown. (That said, if Eloquii is casting for plus size models — I’m available! <3)
When styling this plus size outfit for a company holiday party, I’d go for statement earrings, and you can decide how wild to get with shoes. These dresses could also be worn with shimmer black tights and heeled bootie boots (love a pointed toe bootie boot), but it’s up to you! I’d also probably wear my hair up in a velvet dress (I have a pixie cut, so that’s not a problem), because hair on velvet can get a bit static-y!!

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Green Satin Button Down Shirt with Statement Black Pants
Next up, I wanted to share a more casual, but still upscale plus size holiday party option! A green button down top in SATIN can be very Christmas-y and chic, but easier to wear than a dress! You could take your styling cue from the Eloquii stylists with faux leather pants, but I’d probably go with the sequin pants from above!
I’d also wear your hair down or more relaxed, this look is *almost* a little too 9-5 professional for a party! You can always snag a santa hat and/or sparkly holiday earrings to make it more fun! <3

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Brocade Jacket with Matching Pants
Next up, I just HAD to include this brocade plus size suit. This is almosttttt going into the type of attire you’d wear to a black tie holiday event, but notttt quite! This is a great look to wear if you’re a +1 to a holiday party, and you’re not sure what the ~vibe~ is going to be.
Wearing a simple black top under this, you could remove the jacket if you feel under dressed, or rock the jacket if you’re comfortable! I’m ALL about options, darlin’! Jewelry-wise, it’s really going to depend if you plan on wearing the jacket all night. A statement necklace may be too overwhelming with a jacket all night, buuuut it’s CHRISTMAS! It’s okay to be a little extra and sparkly all year, but especially at Christmas-time!!

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Satin Wrap Maxi Dress
Next up on my guide to plus size outfits for an office Christmas party, we have this green satin wrap dress! This is a GREAT dress if you want to get in the Christmas spirit, buuuut you want to get a few more wears out of this dress than just the company holiday party!
This shade of green is great for Christmas, but it’s not a Kelly Green that SCREAMS “CHRISTMAS DRESS!!”
Similar to the other outfits that have shown the model in heels, you can absolutely swap those out for booties or even knee high boots, provided the outline of the boots doesn’t show through the dress. I’d also layer on a statement costume necklace with rubies, to get this lewk more in the Christmas spirit.
Also, how lovely are the ends of the sleeves? So graceful! Love it!

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Black Top with Cream Wide Leg Sequin Pant
OK! It’s time to PARTY! These pants woudl definitely make you the star of an office Christmas party, maybe getting some raised eyebrows if your work is super boring and conservative.
BUT, if you’re lucky enough to work in an office and/or industry where folks compete with fashion, these pants are SUPER fun!

Ahhh, a classic plus size holiday outfit – a red satin wrap dress! Like with the other dresses on this guide, I wouldn’t snag this for a work event if you’re a more tall babe. Unless you work in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere, showing knees at a company work event can be a no-no!
I love to break the rules, but I also want you to advance your career, babes!!!
I would probably wear this dress as styled, with simple jewelry and heels. I’d make my date drop me off at the door, because I am not trying to walk through a parking lot in heels, lololol!

How freakin’ FUN is this cobalt blue plus size faux fur jacket!?! This is SUCH a fun way to jazz up a simple black plus size dress, and I love how the Eloquii stylists have added silver heels!
This is a FANTABULOUS plus size holiday outfit for a company party for a babe that works as a professional creative or in a bold and brilliant industry.

Sometimes, you just want to go with a simple black dress. Black can be a safe bet for a plus size Christmas outfit for a holiday party, especially if you’re a +1 (and don’t work at the org)!
I would definitely jazz up this fitted black dress with statement jewelry and an updo. If you want to add a bit more sophistication, you could also style this black dress with a silky or burned out velvet wrap!

# Plus Size Outfits for an Office Christmas Party – Velvet Wrap Dress with Tie in Black, Deep Wine and Green
Can you tell I’m a lliiiiiiiiittle obsessed with VELVET?! This wrap dress is STUNNING, and it screams Christmas — without being stuck as a dress that you only wear in December.
I am a liiiiiittle concerned about that slit in the front though, I gotta be honest! You can add a simple stitch yourself to keep things closed, wear tights or just live your best leg-tastic life in this dress!
I would wear this dress with an updo (above, I talked about how wearing your hair down in a velvet dress can lead to static), and I may pair it with a pair of silver booties and statement black and silver (or gold!) tights!
