Today on the blog, I’m sharing over 21 of my BEST ideas for plus size spring outfits. Spring is coming, and I know that it can be really hard to figure out clothing that transitions while the weather forecast changes each day!

In this blog post, I’ve shared my fave plus size spring outfits for 2023! As we get closer to April, I’ll keep updating this post with my finds.
In this blog post, I share plus size fall outfits that *I* like (Hi I’m Brianne, The Huntswoman!), and I’ve shared plus size spring outfits that I think are the most trendy right now! I’ve included larger fashion companies, as well as independent designers and brands. <3
Before we get started, here are three of my tips that are most helpful when planning plus size spring outfits:
- Denim Jacket: A good jean jacket is SUPER IMPORTANT for a spring wardrobe, as you can throw it on with almost any casual plus size spring outfit. It can add warmth for days where you’re unsure of the weather, as well!
- Leggings and tights: These aren’t just for fall, babes! Leggings and tights are great for plus size spring dresses and dresses for curvy babes, helping to keep your legs warm while you frolic around!
- Mesh Tops: Ok, if you’ve been hanging out with me for a while, then you KNOW I love a long sleeve mesh top. They’re perfect for layering and the mesh makes for a breezy outfit!

#1 Plus Size Spring Outfits: Relaxed Linen Overalls
Ok, first up on my list of plus size spring outfits — we have to start with fun relaxed linen overalls! These are SUCH a fun outfit idea, and when you wear these you’ll probs get a lot of compliments! This plus size linen overall option is available in a few colors, and up to a 5X on their size chart. Loads of plus size babes have bought this fun outfit — it almost brings people childlike joy!!

#2 Plus Size Spring Outfits: Denim Shorts & Striped Yellow Button Down
Next up for plus size women’s spring clothing (or options for all genders!) we have this super fun outfit from Madewell! I love, no, I ADORE a vertical striped button down — they’re SO chic and timeless. (I thought about including a photo of Audrey Hepburn in one for this post, lol).
I love to pair a more timeless piece with a trendy option, and these denim shorts are so cute! Such a great plus size spring outfit idea, for sure!

#5 Plus Size Spring Outfits: Pink Jacquard Blazer (ASOS LUXE Curve Jacquard Cupped Puff Sleeve Mini Dress with Godet Detail in Floral)
Fun fact about me: I LOVEEEEE jacquard! It’s kind of like brocade or satin, and usually doesn’t have a lot of stretch. I love it because of how it captures the light! So shimmery These plus size spring outfit ideas are just so cute — and that pink is perfect for spring!

#6 Cute Plus Size Spring Outfits: Wide Leg Jeans and White Button Down Top
Currently, as I write this I am wearing the FIRST pair of non-jegging jeans I’ve bought in YEARS! The times are a changing, my friends, and it’s time to embrace wide leg denim. For shorer babes like me, I recommend test driving this plus size spring outfit (a chic white button down and high waist wide leg jeans). The jeans have a bit of a crop, and I find that showing up my ankle bone (lol) is a great wardrobe hack to look taller, if you’re into that sortf thing!

Ok, plus size spring dress time! The other plus size spring outfits in this post are perfect and a bit more subtle, and this dress is kicking down the door of spring — I love it! Perfect for brunch, a weekend date, or just delighting everyone at the office lol. I’d probs style this with a black moto jacket, because I love the interplay of hard and soft! #8 Plus Size Spring Outfits: Boilersuit
My friend, M, came to my house yesterday in a slate blue gray boilersuit, and it made me go, “OMG! A boilersuit is such a good plus size spring outfit!”
A boilersuit can also be called a jumpsuit or coveralls, and the word “boilersuit” refers to a specific cut. I was STOKED when I found this plus size boilersuit on Target in multiple colors, in up to a size 4X!

Another bold plus size spring outfit idea are these purple eyelet shorts and a tropic top. These are actually from Eloquii’s plus size resort collection, and I think this look is perfect for spring! Available in up toa size 28.

Ok, plus size y2k fashion time! This plus size spring outfit is very on trend, with reference to the early aughts! Dark denim mini skirt with bodysuit(??) that’s off the shoulder! Perfect for cool spring days when you want some sun on your shoulders!

#11 Cute Plus Size Spring Outfits: Jogger Shorts & Striped Tee with Oversized Button Down
Looking for a more casual and cozy plus size spring outfit, that still looks put together? I’ve found that black shorts can INSTANTLY make a plus size outfit look more elevated, an I love how the Target stylist team styled these drawstring shorts with cowgirl boot booties! A light green jacket can be a great option for spring.

I love a jumpsuit! They make it so easy to get dressed, and I get so many compliments when I wear them! I think that this light wash denim jumpsuit from Eloquii is the perfect plus size spring outfit for the curvy fashionista who loves street style and fashion.

Let’s get bold with our plus size spring outfits!! Remember how earlier up in the post I shared the idea of wearing tights or leggings with plus size spring dresses, to weather the cold?! Well, Eloquii has done just that (kind of!) with this plus size spring outfit, but they swapped out the tights for some rad plus size boots! I love that contrasting pink color. I’ve been on the hunt for a denim dress just like this, because I know this is a classic style and wardrobe staple.

What would spring fashion be without YELLOW!? Eloquii is known for making these fun plus size peplum tops, and this one is made out of scuba knit fabric. In my experience, scuba knit fabric does NOT breathe, making this a plus size spring top perfect for colder weather. It looks super spring, but it is a bit more warm!
