Last night while working on my own fashion collection, I streamed the SS20 Chromat show online. And I let out a little scream (that freaked out my dog, Lena) when I saw Tess Holliday walk down the runway in this number:

The dress features the iconic “SAMPLE SIZE” tee that the brand released prior to this season, with a twist. Instead of strutting in a swimsuit or a piece with iconic CHROMAT caging, Holliday rocked a dress.

The piece featured a classic CHROMAT neckline (pictured below), as well its bust lines seen in other swimsuits.

CHROMAT, founded by Becca McCharen-Tran, celebrated its 10th “Runway Anniversary” this year. The brand has been pushing beauty standards on the runway for years, showing models of different sizes, racial backgrounds abilities, etc.

The End of the Runway

Tess’s pose at the end of the runway caused a bit of a stir on social:

When asked about her move at the end of the runway, Holliday shared on her Instagram Story, “FYI my ‘boob grab’ at the end of the runway was a nod to the late and great Anna Nicole Smith. Now I’m gonna go enjoy this moment and keep being ‘trashy’ forever! Only good vibes about last night! Such an iconic moment for me!”

Get it, Tess!
