Today on the blog, I’m sharing my fave places to shop for plus size rash guards and wetsuits!
Summer is just around the corner! I plan on traveling a lot, going snorkeling, to the beach and pool! I love plus size rash guards, because they help protect my skin against the sun rays. I also plan on going to Jamaica this year, and I definitely need a plus size wet suit!

Plus Size Rash Guards & Wet Suits
Below, I’ve shared the cutest and most fashionable plus size rash guards I can find, because I know I’m not the only babe who loves swimming – and HATES sunburns!
I’ve also shared info on sizing, color options and other helpful information!
Before I get going, I’d like to share 3 of my BEST tips for finding the right plus size rash guard or wet suit for YOU!
- Tip #1: Check for UV blocking fabric! Some plus size rash guards and wetsuits are made with really cool fabric that can block UV rays. Don’t assume this fabric is used, always check the description!
- Tip #2: Follow the care instructions! For swimwear and wetsuits, there are very specific care instructions you should follow to get the most wears out of your item! Overall, I’d say dryers are a NO GO!
- Tip #3: Check your sunscreen! All sunscreens are NOT created equal! Make sure your sunscreen won’t harm your plus size rash guard or wetsuit fabric!

I am so excited to have found this LEGIT plus size wet suit that goes up to a 150 KG, or about 330 pounds.

I was stoked to find Truli, a brand that makes plus size wetsuits! The brand has a variety of lengths and styles, including short sleeves and capri length! Even better, these wet suits were designed to be worn for water sports – including scuba diving!
- Sizing: Up to a size 24

Next up, we have this plus size striped rash guard from Target! It’s giving me nautical vibes. The auarter zipper allows for easy on/off, making it easy to play in the sun!

#9: Bright & Colorful Plus Size Wet Suit Style Swimsuit
For a variety of (not-valid) reasons, there aren’t wetsuits available in plus sizes. For surfers and scuba-divers, this is such a bummer!
However, this rash-guard and shorts set from Ulla Popken can be paired used to create a plus size wetsuit look!
