Today on my blog, I’m sharing 21 super fun throuple gifts, for the cuties in your life who are polyamorous and in a triad!
As a member of the queer community, I know a good number of folks who are in a “throuple” (I like the word “triad” better, but whatever!), and I realized as I was planning my content for 2023 that shopping for folks in a throuple or triad or polycule can be a bit hard — so I thought I’d share this gift guide for throuples!

BEST Throuple Gifts
Ok, so before we go into talking about the best throuple gifts, I wanted to share a few tips to keep in mind:
- SYMBOLS: Some people love the polyamory symbols (there’s more than one!), and others aren’t fans — and that’s ok! When shopping for throuple gifts, be sure to do a bit of sleuthing and ask your peeps what symbols they do and don’t like.
- TERMINOLOGY: Some folks who are in a throuple, or who are polyamorous, really do *not* like language like, “You’re my person” or any sort of verbiage that makes it sound like a person has one true love or soulmate. Others are totally fine with this language, choosing to have multiple soulmates! Be sure to ask a few questions about how the throuple you’re gift shopping for likes to receive gifts!
- “OUTNESS”: Not everyone who is polyamorous, in a throuple, etc, is out to everyone in their life about it! Unfortunately, being in a throuple can cause familial strife in a larger family group, at work, etc. Before getting a gift for a throuple, be sure that the occasion you’re giving the gift at (birthday, Christmas, etc) is an ok venue to talk about your friend being in a throuple.
