“Where do I get plus size knee high socks?” A reader recently DM’d me on Instagram with this question, and I love it when folks do this! I spend a good chunk of my time looking for resources for blog posts, and chances are that I’ll know where to find a super specific piece you’re looking for.
So, today, we’re talking about where to shop for plus size knee high socks for wide calves.

Finding plus size knee high socks, especially in certain colors or patterns, can be really challenging. In this blog post, I’ve shared where to shop for plus size knee high socks, as well as information on the calf measurement so you know which ones to shop!
If you don’t have a tape measurer hanging out at your house, I highly recommend getting one! Shopping online requires that you know your measurements, as sizes vary greatly from one brand to another. There is no agreed upon or “true” size for a set of measurements. Every brand is different!

#1 Plus Size Knee High Socks Brand: SockDreams
SockDreams is my #1 favorite plus size knee high socks brand, because they have the widest selection by far. From having one of the most inclusive size charts to the widest variety of colors and patterns, SockDreams is a fave.
My one piece of feedback for the brand is that I’d like to see all socks listed in the plus size section to be on plus size bodies. It’s hard to purchase a pair of plus size knee socks when they’re clearly not on the body of a plus size person. 🙁
Measurements:
- Measurements vary by fabric type, but on average it looks like these socks fit up to a 21-22 inch calf!

#2 Plus Size Knee High Socks Brand: BAMS
#3 Plus Size Knee High Socks Brand: Lane Bryant
Lane Bryant has a good selection of plus size compression socks, as well as a couple of plus size knee socks in a rib knit fabric.
These Cable Ribbed Comfort Band Trouser Sock 2-Pack are in a Charcoal color, and perfect to wear with skirts for fall or with dress clothes!

#4 Plus Size Knee High Socks Brand: Sock It To Me
Sock It To Me is a novelty sock company, making plus size knee socks in fun patterns!
I’ve never tried to this brand (full disclosure!), and they have a few plus size or wide width socks options on their website.
Measurements:
- Up to 21 inches
From the brand: “We fulfilled our number one customer request and developed proprietary technology to create our awesome designs on stretchier socks—up to 21 inches in circumference without distorting the graphics. Our custom built machine creates a higher thread count knee high that won’t fall down, no matter your leg size.”

#5 Plus Size Knee High Socks Brand: Woman Within
Woman Within is a staple brand for a lot of plus size folks, and the brand has quite the collection of socks!
Currently they have these fun and cozy knee plus size knee high socks in gray, white, navy and black in “extra wide width.”
Measurements:
- Socks on the website are designed for wide width feet, and wdon’t specifically for wide calves? (The description isn’t clear!)

#6 Plus Size Knee High Socks: Lish Socks ($9.99)
I found this fun brand on Amazon, and they make fun printed compression socks that are plus size knee high socks!

- Fits calves from 13-21 inches

#7 Plus Size Knee High Socks Brand: Torrid
At time of publishing, Torrid doesn’t have plus size knee high socks on their website, although I expect them to release a few pairs for fall soon!
