Today, we’re talking about where to get custom made wedding dresses in plus size! For the last few years, I’ve been sharing plus size wedding guides, tips and resources (from where to get a unique plus size wedding dress to where to get plus size bridesmaid dresses, etc).
And todayyyyy I’m going to talk about where to shop for a custom made wedding dress in plus size.
Full disclosure: This blog post was inspired by a chat I had with my plus size fashion friend, Hannah, of Hannah Caroline Couture who is #1 on this list! I shared additional resources as well, because I want plus size babes to know about multiple options when it comes to getting a custom wedding gown!

Custom Made Wedding Dresses in Plus Size
When it comes to shopping for custom made wedding dresses in plus size, I am biased to working with a designer or brand *in person*! There are brands who make custom made wedding dresses in plus size, who simply take your measurements and send you a dress.
In my years of experience in fashion, you’re still going to need to get a dress altered to fit you well, so you may as well work with a custom plus size wedding dress designer who works with you in person.
Alrighty, let’s begin the round up!
#1: Custom Made Wedding Dresses in Plus Size: Hannah Caroline Couture
If you’ve been hanging out with me for a minute, then you know I am a HUGE fan of Hannah Caroline Couture. I creative directed and modeled in this shoot for the brand here!
The designer (Hannah) makes all of her custom made plus size wedding dresses in plus size in her studio in NEBRASKA! (I know, right?! Who would’ve thought NEBRASKA would have such a fab brand?!).
Hannah Caroline Couture is my fave for a multitude of reasons, including her fab designs. And what really sets her apart is that she works with people of all sizes (yes, all) and genders.
Hannah can make your dream custom made wedding dress in plus size – 100% from scratch, or you can choose a style on her website and customize an existing wedding gown design.
