Hello, friend! Today on my blog, I’m sharing over 110 BEST plus size birthday outfit ideas with you! As someone who loves my birthday and celebrates all month long (#SagittariusSeason), I am ALL about dressing up for my birthday!

Before we get into all of my delightful, fun, and cute plus size birthday outfits, I wanted to share 3 of my top tips for putting together your own plus size birthday outfit for 2023!
- GO FOR IT! This first tip could be kind of confusing, but give me a second to explain my thought process and reasonng here, people! In all my years of being Extra AF about my own birthday and my own plus size birthday outfits, I have never ONCE regretted going big before I go home for the night! If you want to be super extra, bold, sparkly, sexy, etc, DO IT! Life is short! We’re on a spinning rock!
- Be an OUTFIT REPEATER! I don’t understand the whole wearing an outfit one time thing, and I think its silly (and bad for our environment!). Instead, I encourage you to choose an outfit you LOVE — maybe even investing a bit more for birthday, babe — and wearing it a BUNCH! Go for it!
- Read the size chart! This tip surprises some people, but remember that sizes are not the same across brands! Be sure to take your measurements with a handy dandy tape measurer like this one, so you can check the size chart! (Or compare the size chart of your fave plus size brand to the new-to-you brand!)
- Invest in FOUNDATIONS! Listen, babe! Plus size birthday outfits only look as good as you feel in your undies! Be sure to invest in a good and well fitting bra, panties, etc! If you’re going for a sexy plus size birthday dress, make sure you feel sexy in your undies, too!
