As a plus size blogger, one of the hardest questions I get asked is, “Where do I shop for plus size everyday outfits?” Folks know where to get specialty items, like a plus size wedding gown or a plus size Halloween costume, but figuring out where to shop for trendy everyday plus size clothing can be such a challenge!
Plus Size Everyday Outfits
It can be hard to shop for everyday plus size outfits, because while there are great plus size workwear options – there aren’t a lot of options for those of us who want to look stylish and put together, but don’t want to wear a blazer.
Buuut we also don’t want to go around in v-neck t-shirts and jeans all of the time.
As I have been thinking about my favorite “everyday plus size clothing brands,” I realized that what I really want is STRETCH and COMFORT. Most of us know about Lane Bryant and Torrid, and while these brands are fab – we want OPTIONS!
I don’t want to wear tops that are cute with no stretch – because I won’t put them on! I don’t want to feel like I’m constantly tugging on my clothes!!
So, with this in mind – I’ve shared my favorite plus size everyday clothing outfits to shop:
A lot of plus size babes have City Chic in their closet, but they don’t realize it! City Chic is a plus size fashion brand out of Australia, and there are bunches of retailers who carry them.
For folks in the USA, I like to shop them directly on their website, here, or via CoEdition.
City Chic has super cute everyday plus size outfits, and I love how they construct their clothing! They include stretch waistbands, stretch panels in the back of dresses, etc, to make their clothing super comfy and easy to wear!
