Finding a plus size suit for a wedding can be super hard! Specifically, finding a plus size white wedding suit is rough! Since publishing my guide on where to shop for plus size clothing as a masculine presenting person [link here], I have had a number of folks reach out to me about where to shop for wedding suits.
The issue for a lot of these folks is that while they may shop in the plus size women’s section for suits, they don’t *identify* as women. And, some folks do identify as women – but they’re looking for something to wear something that affirms their gender identity.

So, today, I’ve done my best to put together a listicle on where to find a plus size suit for a wedding, and noting that gender expressions and identities may vary.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I try to be mindful when I write my blog posts! Most clothing stores share clothing options in a binary, and we know that that does not reflect the lived experience of most LGBTQ+ folks. Some folks looking for a plus size suit may be in the “women’s section,” but do not identify as women!
Alrighty, let’s get started!
Extra Note on Tailoring: Anything purchased “off the rack” is not going to fit well. I tell all my plus size readers that going to a tailor is CRITICAL to getting a good fit.

#1: Plus Size White Wedding Suit | Women & LGBT Folks – Jessica London
I haven’t tried the suits from Jessica London, but I am intrigued. The brand has a variety of off the rack plus size suits, including this plus size white wedding suit in up to a size 36! This is a two button blazer, and they also have a one button white suit jacket as well! <3

#2: Plus Size White Wedding Suit | Women & LGBT Folks – Roaman’s
Roaman’s carries similar clothing to Woman Within, but I found this rad plus size wedding suit on their site! The covered buttons evoke the esthetic of a wedding dress, without this *being* a wedding dress! The covered buttons are a fun vintage-inspired touch!

First up on our list of plus size suits for a wedding is David’s Bridal. The brand has a gorgeous white suit meant to be worn in weddings!

Next up on my list of plus size wedding suit options, we have this GORGEOUS white suit from River Island. This suit is in a shimmery silvery-white fabric, and is available in up to a size 24.

In the past couple of years, J.Crew has really upped their offering of plus size fashion, and the brand has a gorgeous plus size white wedding suit! this has a relaxed fit, and I think it would be perfect for a beach or outdoor wedding.
The suit is available in up to a size 24. I am loving the beach vibes of this suit in the product photos!

Next up on our list of plus size wedding suits is PTL! I was pretty surprised to see this plus size fashion brand offering a plus size white pantsuits!

Next up on my list of plus size white wedding suits, you KNOW I have to include ASOS! This UK-based fashion brand is one of my faves, and they have some lovely plus size white weddings sutis in ivory and other shades.
- Sizing: ASOS goes up to a US size 24, with some options going up to a US 26!

This is a super fun brand, and they have a more feminine while suit and a more lose-fitting or “masculine” plus size wedding suit. The brand goes up to a 3X.
